Hi! I’m Julia Hyde, advertising copywriter and search engine marketer.
I’ve been working in the advertising industry for more years than I care to mention. And if I feel I don’t have the experience, knowledge or ability to create advertising that will sell more of your product or service, I’ll tell you straight.
The advertising and copywriting techniques I focus on have been tried, tested and proven to work. Whether it’s Internet advertising, (SEO or SEM), print advertising, public relations or website design and development, I believe consumers still buy products or services from companies whose advertising promises value for money, health, beauty, success, social status and relief from suffering.
I also believe that one person can’t excel at everything. My strengths are Internet advertising and creating the concepts and copy that make the cash register ring. For other more specialized areas I hire experts in their field — designers, usability testing analysts, programmers, logo designers, keyword specialists — who work closely with me (and you) to create the right advertising for your product or service.
Along with running my companies, I frequently write articles about print media advertising and Internet advertising for magazines and newspapers, including SOHO Magazine, The San Jose Mercury News, Web Pro News, All Business News and Yahoo Small Business. I’m also known for my monthly Marketing Works! newsletter. This popular newsletter discusses the latest news and opinion from the world of print media advertising, Internet advertising and public relations.
In my spare time (such as it is) I write health and education articles for Big Apple Magazine, South Florida Parent, Metro Parent and the Times Publishing Group.
At home I’m “Mom” to four amazing kids, Katherine, Jacob, Grace and Emily, and partner of Brian (who thankfully supports and tolerates my advertising and computer addiction.)
